Fuck yes.
Q: "How do you respond to Governor Newsom?"

Sen. Van Hollen: "I think Americans are tired of elected officials or politicians who are all finger to the wind...Anybody who can't stand up for the Constitution and the right of due process doesn't deserve to lead."

This is the worse I’ve seen yet.
Here's Trump saying to Bukele that "homegrown criminals are next" and talking about how El Salvador will need to build "about five more places."

what the fuck are you talking about
Young men don't open bank accounts. They are too expensive. They download coin base or Robinhood app and buy crypto. That's their savings

If one party pushes that number higher. They vote for em. Gensler/Biden caused those savings to go down. The demo with the biggest change was young men
This is legit the dumbest thing I've ever seen him say

As serious as the Signal story is, let's not lose sight of the rounding up innocent people and deporting them into concentration camps.

Went down a rabbit hole of testing bacteria in swimming water and found an incredible paper from 2019 discussing how spectrometry could help rapidly automate the testing process, but it was *just* a PhD paper and the two top authors (both Stanford) are now at AI-skinned B2B startups. FML.

Marianne Williamson had it completely right. The whole “these guys are weird” thing misses a bigger, deeper, more salient point: they are not leading with love. Damaged men damaging the country. Pity them, do not fear them. Lead with love.

The DOGE “audit” has been fascinating for me. The work product is almost a complete pattern match for how inexperienced management consultants approach legacy organizations: too smart for their own good.

This is exactly what a not-worth-partner-time-give-it-to-the-kids engagement looks like.

I finally get to share what we've been up to at @jamsocket.com!

We built the code execution abstraction I've always wanted: a REPL that “runs forever”, using memory snapshots to hibernate behind the scenes so that it costs almost nothing to preserve state while idle.
Giving an LLM a code sandbox massively increases its capabilities, but managing VM lifecycles is a pain.

Introducing foreverVM, a Python REPL-as-a-service. Under the hood, we swap between memory and durable storage. To you (and your agent) it acts like an always-on REPL.
