"Where is Gavin Newsom?"

The state & local Democratic Party are complicit. Newsom & Karen Bass send the police after protesters & community members.

ICE has been raiding my neighborhood and surrounding ones for the last couple of weeks now. They commandeered my local church (against the pastor's will) for a staging site and raided supermarkets, parks, Goodwills, bus stops, you name it.

The national media's been silent. So has @mayor.lacity.gov.
Engagement on our updates re: ICE kidnappings/fed siege of Los Angeles is significantly lower on Bluesky compared to Twitter. Do ppl on here not care about LA anymore? Are feeds being taken over by liberal commentators? What's going on?

Community members on the ground can't do it all. We need help.
The feds are escalating in Los Angeles. We've seen record high kidnappings and our communities are under attack. The media focus on LA has died down so electeds don't feel the need to even feign opposition.

People are out here fighting. We need all of us. Join the struggle. Defend your neighbors.

Fact: One of the biggest hurdles LLM devs built for themselves by overhyping their chatbot, being idiots, and leveraging the entire global economy on their pipe dream is that they constantly need *more data* that they can be sure an LLM did NOT generate. If there's a company with data, they want it.

Right. So this says "TurboTax" but they mean "parent company of TurboTax: Intuit, who will extend this to all their holdings."

For those who are not up on finance world mergers, that's:
- TurboTax
- Credit Karma
- QuickBooks
- Mint (not mentioned in article)
- Mailchimp

Check your records.
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Congressional republicans have been spewing racist attacks on Mamdani for weeks and it’s almost never mentioned in our media. Not only that, the person leading the hate campaign—Randy Fine—is treated by the same media as a good faith expert on antisemitism. I wrote about this obscene double standard
Why is Mainstream Media Ignoring Overtly Racist Attacks on Mamdani from Congressional Republicans?
Non-stop Islamopbohic vitriol, threats of deportation, and virtually no coverage from CNN, NBC, CBS, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal or The Washington Post.

Democrats have been passing the buck for virtually no reward my entire life. A good two generations of people are over it.
Democrats should not “wait until after” anything to have these internal fights. This is the argument the establishment makes to keep control of the party and continue fucking up. We need an internal fight to oust the quislings and elevate the people who give a shit and who know how to fight.

one of the political lessons of the last few years is that it can be difficult to convince people that dems are influenced by corporations just as much as republicans are, but oh man people need hardly any convincing at all that dems care more about their vacation time than their constituents needs

Why aren't my Senators saying they did it because they simply care about the American people and truly felt this was just the right thing to do? It is an absolutely mystery to me why they aren't saying this thing when it's clearly what they believe
instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

Any Senate Democrat who is not publicly and explicitly calling for Schumer's resignation as the Leader is complicit.
The reason the Dems get away with “don’t blame me, those 8 voted for it” is because there are people who genuinely believe that’s how things work. It’s incredibly depressing.

You told us to suck it up over Cop City. You told us to suck it up over the complete lie on the $2000 checks. You told us to suck it up over a goddamn genocide (hey, remember that? The genocide? Weird how we just stopped talking about the GENOCIDE). Your strategy has failed. You may sit down now.
