entirely personal anecdote but I was so infuriated by #FreeLink being necessary (by him getting banned while a transphobe walked) that I left the protocol entirely for Blacksky — but Bsky is still all there is as far as actually using ATP goes. Whole situation is frustrating and drove me away.

Engagement on our updates re: ICE kidnappings/fed siege of Los Angeles is significantly lower on Bluesky compared to Twitter. Do ppl on here not care about LA anymore? Are feeds being taken over by liberal commentators? What's going on?

Fact: One of the biggest hurdles LLM devs built for themselves by overhyping their chatbot, being idiots, and leveraging the entire global economy on their pipe dream is that they constantly need *more data* that they can be sure an LLM did NOT generate. If there's a company with data, they want it.

The reason the Dems get away with “don’t blame me, those 8 voted for it” is because there are people who genuinely believe that’s how things work. It’s incredibly depressing.
