We have a stall at Whitecross Christmas Market tomorrow - (near Bodinnick, #Cornwall) so I've spent my entire week preparing yummy edible (nutty) things to sell.

I hope the weather turns out to be a little less windy than they're forecasting...

Please wish us luck, and watch this space! 💨

I am somewhat biased towards lantern bugs and often make little trips searching for them. Here's Pyrops pythicus, endemic to Sumatra. How many colours do you see?

If you spend any time in southern Europe next spring or summer look out for this amazing hoverfly, the Band-eyed Dronefly. Any ideas why it evolved eyes like this? I would like to know.

Outrage as video shows fox caught in 'barbaric' snare trap on King's Sandringham estate. 😡

No one should be using these vile traps anywhere, and the Royal family should lead the way and not use them.

SHARE if you think they should be banned.
