A new study has found microplastics in greater quantities in a rural woodland than a nearby city.

It estimated up to 500 airborne particles were deposited on a sq metre of ground every day in Wytham Woods nr Oxford – almost twice as many as in the city centre.

So a polite request to dog owners... Please be careful what anti-flea treatments you use on your pets.
