What is the point of a national broadcaster when 3 days after a stunning victory by Plaid Cymru in a Senedd by-election it only gets mentioned in the context of Labour's woes? And what is the BBC's director of Nations doing about it?
What is the point of our national broadcaster if it can't get the official Opposition to answer questions like this?
A real failure that a 6 minute BBC interview with the Shadow Home Secretary has simply failed to clarify
- whether the Bill in the Commons stands, or has been dropped?
- whether threat of removal to those currently with ILR stands, or dropping retrospective deportations of 430,000 people

The UK Treasury has screwed Wales again!

They've now classed a railway line running for Oxford to Cambridge as an "England and WALES" project.

This robs Wales over £300m+ whereas Scotland and NI get their cash.

It's a disgrace that this is still happening after the HS2 robbery.

Mae’n gwbwl briodol bod ‘pob opsiwn ar y bwrdd’ ar gyfer Scunthorpe.

Ond ble oedd yr opsiynau hyn ar gyfer Port Talbot? Gwawdiodd Llafur alwad Plaid Cymru am wladoli.

Mae Llafur wedi bradychu cymunedau diwydiannol Cymru.

Keir Starmer says ‘all options are on the table’ for Scunthorpe – rightly so.

But when Port Talbot faced crisis, Labour mocked Plaid Cymru’s call for nationalisation.

Labour has betrayed Welsh industrial communities.

Why is the Welsh Government at war with arts, culture, and heritage?
Why was defunding done so ‘quietly’?
Why is it Scotland chooses to increase funding when Wales lets invaluable sectors sink or swim?

Why is the Welsh Government at war with arts, culture, and heritage?
Precious sectors of Wales are being left to sink or swim. The Scottish government values arts, culture, and heritage: why doesn’t ours?

I wonder whether anyone at the Beeb has ever told Robbie Gibb, the Brexit-supporting board member knighted by his former boss Theresa May who polices the ‘impartiality’ of others, to piss off. Someone senior, whether on or off air staff, really needs to. This nonsense can’t continue.
Was just disinvited by @bbc5live.bsky.social to a discussion of Brexit 5 years on- on the entirely reasonable/correct grounds that I know what I am talking about and would give an expert, objective view.

What they actually wanted was a "hard Remainer" (to balance a know-nothing Brexiteer).

Mae Cymru yn dal i golli allan oherwydd HS2. Nid annhegwch hanesyddol yn unig yw hyn – bydd yn parhau i wasgu cyllid rheilffyrdd Cymru yn y dyfodol. Bydda' i'n parhau i fynnu’r £4 biliwn sy’n ddyledus i Gymru.

Wales is still short-changed because of HS2. The Great Welsh Train Robbery isn’t just a historic inequity – it will continue to squeeze Welsh rail funding to the future. I will continue to demand the £4 billion that Wales is owed.
