If we can "avoid a government shutdown" by voting for this CR, then why is the entire Department of Education closed today? Why is USAID closed? Why are hundreds of billions in grant contracts frozen?

We are already in the shutdown. And your votes DON'T stop it. In fact, they allow it to expand.

Lemme share something with you. A lot of semi-Trumpy types are saying Zelensky blew it. All he had to do was show up, shake hands, say Trump is great and sign the docs. He couldn't do that. But there are also people in DC who are not Trumpy who are saying the same thing. Now, big picture this ...

At the same time that the entire Republican Party is complaining that Zelenskyy lacked sufficient respect, Trump is calling the leader of our neighbor and longest ally "Governor" and his Cabinet are doing shit like this.

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.

This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.
