...introducing Direct Motions Without Notice, but no further information has been provided.

*** This is a tactic often used to force through unpopular motions, as it circumvents first hearing at General Committee and prevents deputations from the public. ***

This is the playbook, folks.

If you're not paying attention now and doing something about it, then you're going to have to sit down the rest of your life because democracy is being taken away.

Do not be quiet in this moment.

Roughly 80% of homeless aren't folks with mental health or drug problems they are folks who couldn't make rent due to exigent circumstances.

The chronic homeless (people folks usually think of when they think of "the homeless guy in the park") are the hardest to help but they aren't the majority.
The fastest-growing homeless population in America? School-age children.

Last year, student homelessness in California—where rents continue to soar past wages—rose by 20,000, reaching its highest level in a decade.

But sure, keep insisting homelessness is all about mental illness and addiction.

Somehow this got buried in the thread, but it's important.
In 2022, there was a profound need for reliable COVID data in Canada, as reporting withered.

This although excess deaths in Canada in 2022 were nearly as high as Canadian deaths in all 5 years of WWII combined.
