This week, I voted to repeal millions in taxpayer-funded payouts for Senate Republicans that they snuck into their partisan government funding bill. We can’t let this blatant corruption stand.

The provision, which outraged House members, was tucked into a bill to reopen the government last week.

I won’t stand by while we’re marched into another disastrous intervention. Congress must reassert its constitutional authority and stop this escalation.

Otherwise — it’s all show and political posturing and ambition IMO

But I doubt her anti-semitism and disingenuousness would allow this to happen.

What's frustrating is, I have a strong feeling most of these leftists ONLY hate capitalism as much as they do because they're living in it, and thus know its downsides firsthand. In much the same way they kept saying "What's the worst Trump can do?" while Biden was President.
Half a century of low-trust leftist messaging about how capitalism is akshully just fascism with a gilded veneer hasn't turned the public into socialists but it has convinced an awful lot of ppl that it's actually just normal and expected for powerful ppl to rig markets for their friends.

Santa Fe is now the first city to tie the minimum wage to the cost of rent.

The Santa Fe City Council voted to raise its minimum wage from $15/hr to $17.50 by 2027 — but they also added another provision.

Future increases will factor in inflation, and the price of housing.
