The Air Quality Index (AQI) that says the air is safe in LA after the wildfires does not take into account toxic gases that form when urban materials burn at such high temps. Considers ozone, PM, NOx, SO2. My team and I are discussing going there to measure the toxins in the air (between SD & LA).

ISO - Professional who can interpret existing CPET and iCPET results in relation to mitochondrial functioning vs overall conditioning.

Can interpret lactate recovery time, average mixed venous oxygen @ rest & exertion, anaerobic threshold independent of VO2 max. Asking for a friend who will pay.

The form of PEM that occurs in #MEcfs is (as far as we known unique to ME and even diagnostic of it. If someone has that, they have ME. But lots of things get mistakes for PEM that are not ME-PEM.

FACTS.
I think this is a big factor in why there aren’t treatments for LC and ME/CFS.

Just to bust this myth: PEM is *not* just disproportionate fatigue. This is a huge misconception. PEM/PENE is a systemic, whole body response to over exertion, that involves inflammation, muscle damage, neuroinflammation, immune activation and metabolic dysfunction. It’s never just fatigue #MEcfs

This day should not have to exist. Full stop. ♥️
Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

Now.
