Honestly, if you value content you've created always make sure it has a home outside of a single company. Always.

My palate cleanser contract this year was just what I needed. Pure Angular, solving real problems. It finished earlier this month but I'm in no rush to pick up the next thing. I feel like the market at the moment is in such a weird place. I'd like to see how the AI slop bubble settles first.

Oof, this is pretty brutal. I see comments like these about Nx a lot. This particular Reddit post just seems to have corralled them all in one place.

Surprised to see so many recommending Moon these days. Historically it wasn't considered a serious rival. User-friendliness counts for a lot though 🤔

It’s things in the world like my previous post that has me not really giving much of a crap about the latest technology right now.

Tech bros will do what they do believing themselves to be above politics while C-suites fund more right wing lobbying marching gleefully into the arms of fascism. 😞

The FBI is about to declare trans people as “violent extremists”. We fucking told you this was coming. Kimmel is just the latest thing, there have been hundreds of dead canaries leading up to this. Some of you never read that poem and now you’re one line away from being rounded up yourselves. 🤬

guys, please chill out on the mod staff, they are overworked! They've had to spend the past 2 days banning trans people for the crime of saying "rest in piss" on TOP of their normal 40 hours a week spent banning anyone from Gaza!
When there’s a lot of activity on the site, our dedicated mod team works around the clock to keep you safe and uphold our community standards. If you think there was a mistake, you can appeal by emailing moderation@blueskyweb.xyz and they will get to it as soon as they can.

Ask me in front of >100 people which bit of Angular is my favourite, my mind is always going to go blank. Not because of the situation but because I don’t have favourite parts of tools! I use them to build things. I just want them to allow me to do that with the least friction. 🤷‍♀️ #AngularConnect

on a practical note, gretchen is now out about $1400 a month (DC’s opening page rate is still $70 for writers, yeah?) so please go buy her books (MANHUNT, CUCKOO, and BLACK FLAME) and—very important!—leave short, *glowing* reviews about them online to help with the algorithm

"Political violence" is a term that exists to suggest a moral distinction between "violence against politicians" and "violence by politicians" - so that one can be condemned while the other can be normalized. Obviously, no such distinction exists in reality: violence is violence.

The way this is being hyped up by all sides as some kind of watershed moment in political violence (unlike dead school children of course), I can only hope that it’s not so influential that in 90 years or so we don’t end up with another whiny indie band naming themselves after a historical figure.
