It's clear to everyone the BBC is giving Nigel Farage and Reform far too much coverage. It is dangerous and it has to stop.

Painstaking international diplomacy is not working fast enough. Last week I called for the government to take the action it should have taken long ago: sweeping trade sanctions, sanctions on Netanyahu and his entire Cabinet, and a commitment to recognise Palestine without conditions.

The BBC are constantly fawning over Farage's every move despite Reform only having four MPs. Our national broadcaster should reflect the whole country, not just one man’s ego.

The BBC is our national broadcaster yet Nigel Farage dominates 60% of the BBC’s website mentions of opposition leaders.
The BBC mustn’t boost his divisive politics.
Ofcom’s rules for election time balance should apply all year round.

Recognition of a Palestinian state is only part of a wider set of challenges – and it will not by itself relieve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza – but it is essential all the same. We must get this across the line when the UN General Assembly meets in two weeks’ time.

It was a genuine privilege and an honour to be able to meet with the President of Palestine, Mahmood Abbas, during his visit to the United Kingdom this week. President Abbas has been a pivotal figure in Middle East politics and in the struggle for a Palestinian homeland for decades now.

Sick of the BBC acting as a mouthpiece for Farage and Reform? Us too.

What can be done to recoup the costs of the many expected County Council by-elections caused as Reform councillors resign because a) they were ineligible, b) they had not expected to be elected, c) they no longer represent Reform etc?
Councils cannot afford this cost.

Trump has badly misjudged the Ukraine war. He and Vance behaved like playground bullies. Putin is their gang leader who steals the dinner money. Zalensky did well not to deck Trump. Being president is not a walk in the park. Long live Ukraine.

When Russia invaded Ukraine, Finland’s then-president Niinistö said that the masks had fallen.

If anyone was still clinging onto some kind of hope of Trump coming around on Ukraine, this disgrace of a press conference should make everything clear now.

Trump is anti-Ukraine. Pro-Russia.

Never thought I’d see the day when the US votes with Russia, Belarus and North Korea in the UN.

The US clearly siding with Ukraine’s aggressor.

Never has there been more urgency for the UK to stand united with our European neighbours and friends. We must all stand up to Trump.

I never usually enjoy retail therapy. However, so many people are unwell, including me,(tail end) I thought maybe shopping?
All major non food retailers are closed today. Perhaps a walk in the park? Royal Parks closed today. Has New Year's Day UK always been like this?
