I agree but this case is even worse: it appears that the detailed course description* explicitly mentions that it will explore how gender and sexuality are depicted in YA literature.

A key take-away from this episode is that the actions of the university and politicians will encourage more hidden camera traps and a instill a culture of fear among instructors and other students (who presumably did not give consent to being recorded).
