"There was more to him than his transness. He was an aspiring artist whose acceptance letter to an art institute in Colorado arrived at his mother’s house shortly after his death."

Why We Must Remember Brandon Teena
Decades after his death, Brandon’s name was invoked in the Nebraska legislature as a reminder of what led to his murder. This Transgender Day of Remembrance, we must not forget.

There's a go-to vegan pumpkin pie recipe I make every year and it is PERFECT. Just the right amount of sweet, custardy, and with a flaky crust 🤤

On another note, I've acquired a recent love of Boston cream donuts and I'm pretty sure I'll ascend when I finally have a slice of Boston cream pie.
We need some sweetness, so please regale me with a description of the best pie you've ever had 🥺

Here's a picture of a lemon pie I once made with salted meringue. It was not the best pie I ever had but it was delicious

I responsibly binged (i.e., watched only a few episodes of each night, in the company of at least one other person instead of alone in my room) both Andor and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in the past few weeks.

I can't explain, but I'm very full. And I haven't even finished Andor yet!
