No Kings
The Declaration of Independence specifies 27 grievances with King George III and Britain.

Donald Trump has committed at least 16 of those same offenses.

(📢) BREAKING: On the eve of the No Kings Protest and Trump Birthday Bash, Trump makes two huge confessions:

1) The ICE reads were political. They’re pausing for industries with many Trump donors.
2) They targeted those Trump concedes are “non-criminals.”

The Choctaw are in this too? I really have to see what might be the most Irish "American movie" ever.

(IKYDK, search Choctaw and Ireland. A kindness that will never be forgotten)
The blockbuster horror film "Sinners" features the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians in a short, impactful scene. For some Choctaw, it is the first time they've heard their language and seen their culture accurately portrayed on screen.

DEMOCRACY: “We need to become a powerful majority to turn back bigotry & inhumanity amid this fierce urgency of now—not as a coalition of humanity that agrees all the time, but one united to save democracy & to finally realize the dream of so many who gave their lives to save us,” Donna Ladd writes.

not pity or dismissal.

To every autistic person who heard those words and felt erased: you matter. You are not a burden. You are a vital part of our communities, our movements, and our future.

We see you. We stand with you. And we will not let this kind of rhetoric go unchallenged.

A thing press institutions REALLY need to internalize is that 1000x more people will see the headline than read the article. If the headline leaves a false impression, but the article sets it straight, it doesn’t matter. You are spreading misinformation.
The framing from legacy media on the Ms Rachel stuff is insane. Nowhere do they say that these are baseless claims, or that what she said (every child's life is precious and worthy) is not "Hamas propaganda." If u didn't know the background to this story and saw this post, you'd believe their smear

For those folks who have been waiting to climb the pole and ring the “constitutional crisis” bell, it would appear we have arrived. Neither Judge Sorokin nor Judge Boasberg believed that he was signing a meaningless order, and both judges demanded compliance that never came.

Taken together, these actions and declarations amount to a significant escalation in Trump’s transformation of his own presidency into an autocracy.

Holy crap. The DOJ is arguing that the President can unilaterally deport anyone he wants without ANY statutory authority, just on his inherent authority as President over national security.

That is a terrifying claim to make and not one that has ever been recognized before in US history.
