More than 200,000 Danish citizens have signed a petition to buy California as a response to Trump’s attempt to take Greenland.

They say they will provide Californians with “rule of law, universal health care, fact-based politics, and a lifetime supply of Danish pastries.”

Not sure who needs to hear this, but the Insurrection Act isn’t the same as “martial law.” It authorizes the molitary to engage in civil law enforcement. And not clear that even then, whether they can enforce state criminal laws

The US needs Greenland so much for national security that it has closed all but one of its bases there and keeps only 150 soldiers on the island, while Denmark would allow as many US troops as it wants

We have become so used to sentence first, trial after, that we forget that this is not normal.

LEO shoots are investigated to determine the facts. Officials do not comment until the facts are established (and usually do not comment even then). It should be about truth, not taking “sides”

Over the past few days, scrolling through the russian information space, it feels like the average orc is finally starting to realize who they really are in this world and the mythical “greatness” is dissolving. That long-held fantasy that everyone fears them seems to be fading too.

Samuel Alito flew two flags used by insurrectionists.

Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election.

Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the January 6th plot.

It's a stain on our nation that this has effectively been forgotten.

The AG is *supposed* to be the people’s lawyer, not the president’s. This is outrageous.

It also indicates Trump feels that he needs protection from Epstein file disclosures.
Axios has learned the White House has begun managing the DOJ's account on X to respond to posts highlighting mentions of Trump in the Epstein files.

In typical administrations, there is a wall between the White House and what is supposed to be an independent Justice Department.
