As an anxious person who isn’t great at doing self-care or fixing my environment, this tip has resonated with me extremely well outside of work.
Instead of leaving tidying up for “later” leading to a big and overwhelming Clean Up, I just repeat “don’t live with broken windows”.

the "esc" key on a keyboard is a holdover from early-'90s personal computers. on some models it would dispense a can of escargot out of one of the unused drive bays. they put it in the corner so you wouldn't press it by accident because you only got three of them. i pushed it once and got grounded

Finally had a chance to check out Workhorse cafe on Cowbridge Road East in Cardiff. Totally nails the Castle Emporium (rip) vibe that I’ve been missing all these years.

Whilst talking about food - I’ve bought some Linda McCartney frozen sausages to try and eat less pork on the regular. Treating them like meat sausages results in quite an unappetising taste so I’m trying to think of ways to infuse other flavours in. First idea is poaching them in an onion gravy 🤔
