@britthyoung.bsky.social I came across your wirecutter article about one-handed mechanical keyboards and right-hand Dvorak while researching the topic, and I loved it. But I was wondering if you had ever talked about software support for said keyboards in an article.

IT Gripe: Last night someone phished a bunch of staff at work via sharing a Google Doc to them. This wasn’t a fake share - the email came from Google like shares normally do. Workspace Admin will let me block emails from a specific external account, but not sharing files from a specific account.

I’m so sick of this happening again and again, and this is making me tear up repeatedly since reading it.

Software joys: three users with common permissions, one can add and edit time entries, one can add but not edit, and the third can edit but not add. Glad I’m just the test dummy and not the one who has to fix it.

The 4th of July. Time to spend the afternoon and evening with the part of my family that wants to socialize with me, but drives me nuts. Cook good food on the grill, but then share an awkward dinner of forced conversation. Then wait for the fireworks so the kids don’t miss out.
