As someone who, broadly speaking, takes advantage of every socially acceptable instance to drink - respect when people tell you they don't want a drink and doubly so respect their choices to not want to be around people who are drinking.
Just a friendly reminder as we go into the holidays:
Folks don't have to explain to you why they don't drink.
If you offer them a drink and they decline, don't ask them why. It's not your business.
Just offer them something without alcohol to drink instead. And move on.

Watched my kid perform tonight with his dance troupe.
God, he's so cool. I can't fully express how amazing he is and how proud of him I am.
He's going to be an actual teenager before too long, something that just blows my mind. I wish Moredena could see him now, but she always knew he was great.
