Training for "jobs that don't exist" either means we're giving students skills that apply to any future job— reading comprehension, critical thinking, numerical literacy, which WE ALREADY DO— or we're teaching them to be customers for a tech company that hasn't found a use for its product yet
yes, we should train students for jobs that don't exist yet...by giving them a solid foundation in core skills of thinking, creating, and understanding. not by teaching them to babysit some LLM.
