In 2010, Labour broke my soul when they forced changes to legal aid immigration funding. Now, 15yrs later, their full-blown racist rhetoric around refugees & their not fit for purpose removals policy is pushing me further into my other career in neuroscience, which will involve my UK exit.

If neuroscience was able to have reduced neuronal physiology to linear/matrix algebra linked by statistical weighting, we’d be there.
Those tools are fundamentally incapable of encapsulating how neural systems process information and we are in danger of hyping neuroscience and damaging a discipline
