Hollow Knight 3D Models - A🧵

Years ago I worked on a project where I made all of the Hunters Journal enemies into Blender, and it was wild. I literally did this to teach myself Blender, so the process gets better as I go.

Wanted to talk about it a lot on here :)

Remember when I said the harm Meta is doing at scale with their policies is far worse than Substack and a whole mob of people disagreed? I’d love for them to take a look at these recent developments. (Btw left wing speech on Meta like support for Luigi or Palestine will still be censored of course!)
Meta literally created a LGBTQ exception for calling someone mentally ill as an insult. You can't do it for any other group except LGBTQ people.

I have every sympathy for people suffering from fires floods climate change awful accidents whatever. Every sympathy and all my support. Except for rich people that think they have special access to solutions the rest of us don't get to enjoy.
“Will pay any amount.”

Feels like one of those futile pleas we’re going to hear from wealthy people more and more in the era of climate change.

Occurs to me that Zuckerberg probably shot Threads in the face today. More people are bound to Facebook by work or communities they can't find elsewhere. Instagram is just too popular with no clear replacement right now. But Threads? Threads you can chuck in the trash.

I dread the daily drama. The government run by tweets. The oligarchy plundering the country. The ignorant masses making excuses for the imbecile they exalted.

I’m embarrassed.

I’m ashamed.

“To turn off, go to Settings > Apps > Photos on iOS and turn off Enhanced Visual Search. On Mac, open Photos and go to Settings > General to do the same. You must do it on each of your Apple devices.”
Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

AI currently exists to dehumanize. Rather than help & improve livelihoods it instead hinders & removes personhoods of mimicked individuals by reducing them and/or their talents down into a distilled empty nothing.

Now read the post below, then take that definition & notice whom they chose to mimic.
My pet theory is they are trying to minimize the voices of real people with the "identities" they are creating. Is that really a single black queer mom of two or another bot? It is not a coincidence every bot we have seen was an ethnic, if not religious, or sexuality minority...

iPhone sales are down after they focus on AI instead of something people want. But Microsoft went all in on AI for Windows 11, they must be doing well—

They’re losing market share to windows 10, their own operating system that’s 9 years old.

Net neutrality is the first to go, I guess. It's been real
this trumplican ruling killing net neutrality doesn't just kill net neutrality, it delivers the final killing blow to any sort of coherent federal consumer broadband protection (corporate press outlets will skip over that last bit)
US appeals court blocks Biden administration net neutrality rules
A U.S. appeals court on Tuesday ruled the Federal Communications Commission did not have the legal authority to reinstate landmark net neutrality rules.
