I was told that Grants Pass allowing cities to make being homeless illegal would solve this. I was under the impression throwing people in jail and “cleaning up” their encampments would fix the problem because homelessness was a lifestyle choice by moral degenerates who just needed “tough medicine”.
Federal officials say the United States saw an 18.1% increase in homelessness this year.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development said that federally required tallies taken across the country in January found that more than 770,000 people were counted as homeless.
