Living in a state with legal weed is cool. Having a dispensary a five-minute walk away is cool. What's not cool is the lady at the dispensary saying to you "thanks for coming in so much." Now, it feels like a problem when before it was just a fun way to ease stress.

Rob Reiner was a good guy. He made a lot of movies about good guys, in worlds where not everyone was good and you didn’t have to be good. He made movies about people trying. He was angry, as many hopeful people are. He knew the world could be better and he wanted it to be. His death is devastating.

Yes. Important to realize that Tennessee sent 2 Dems to Congress until very recently. This seat was rigged with the explicit intent of not being anywhere near winnable. The fact that the Reps had to sweat it is VERY bad for them.
TN07 is a story about gerrymandering: the GOP cracked Nashville into 3 districts when it redrew the 2022 map, destroying the Dem seat there.
Fast-forward: a section of Nashville, which just 5 years ago had a Dem representative, is now voting Dem by huge margins but it's been designed to not matter.
