This is craven and beyond contempt. There's no justification. Carney is using the perceived threats from the US to justify slashing commitments, checks, and balances as they pertain to environment, labour, and basically everything else.

This is a corporate power grab and an attack on everyone.

Hi Bluesky 👋

Small life update: I’m at the centre of a multimillion dollar lawsuit in Alberta launched by a failed candidate for Jason Kenney’s UCP

It may be the longest and most expensive media trial in Canadian history

I’m ready to go public about it and I want to share more details with you 🧵

The way Carney's budget has tanked morale in the city of Ottawa is a sight to behold, let me tell ya!

Carney’s Bills Explained: C-2, C-12, C-8, and C-9
In one of his first orders of business, Prime Minister Carney introduced Bill C-2, also called the Strong Borders Act. Many parts of this Bill have little or nothing to do with the border at all.

Today Premier Eby said passing Bill 31 is "non-negotiable."

"I would stake our government on it," he told reporters

If you want to know more about what's so important Eby is willing to call an elxn if he can't get it done, maybe read this #bcpoli

Remember, the city is also quietly offering "voluntary separation packages" with unspecified incentives as the mayor demands 0% property tax increase

To Carney, "Elbows up" means buying American jets, building a pipeline to sell our oil to the US, joining a US missile defence system, opening our markets to more American dairy, and kissing the American president's ass at every opportunity.

This is what you voted for, is it?
