In the US Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? 2nd edition video game from Eidos & Jellyvision, entering your name as "Regis", "Millionaire", or one of the actual $10^6 winners on the show would result in the game changing your name to "Faker" or "Cheater". So I could not play the game as myself.

Hey #gamedev community! I'm curious how y'all handle ANGLES

Do you use both degrees and radians? Wrap radian-specific functions with a degrees version? Only use radians?

I'm working on some helper methods for angles and wanna know how folks actually interface with the two standards

I wish there was a good place to put a poll asking what game dev folks are using in lieu of Twitter, as well as just social media in general

How are they using it? Are they mostly posting/marketing? Lurking? Finding leads? Staying in touch with friends?

There's a new VSCode update that adds a tab titled "Agent Sessions" at the very top of the sidebar, focused by default

I found out you can disable ALL AI-related features by toggling "chat.disableAllFeatures"

But, also, maybe. The two "man" parts (snicker) in "human" and "manual" are hypothetically different roots.

The one in "manual": Latin manus "hand, strength, power" > OE mund "hand, protection, guardian".

The one in "human": PIE mon "human being; man" > OE mann "human being; hero; servant".

I've always seen "manually" and "manual" + "ly" but always thought of "manual" as a single cohesive unit

BUT IT'S ALSO TWO PARTS

"man" + "ual"

MAN LIKE HUMAN

Before backing up my hard drive, I wanted to delete all the node_modules files

I simply ran `npx npkill` in my root projects directory and it found every nested folder

14.5 GB recovered 🥰
