Right? Early 2010s Twitter is the reason I even *know* about most of the indie games scene. I felt there was so much organic discovery.

One thing I certainly saw more of back then was conversations happening on the timeline, rather than just "here's my thing, enjoy!"

If anyone has any resources on this, I'd love to see it, otherwise I'm tempted to put out a poll myself & compile/compute some data

But, also, maybe. The two "man" parts (snicker) in "human" and "manual" are hypothetically different roots.

The one in "manual": Latin manus "hand, strength, power" > OE mund "hand, protection, guardian".

The one in "human": PIE mon "human being; man" > OE mann "human being; hero; servant".
