Trump underwater in literally every single issue. 38% approval overall. 27% approval on his spending bill. 40% approval on deportations.

Musk also at 30% approval. 38% approval for RFK Jr. 35% approval for JD Vance.

Nobody fucking wants any of this.

Elon has already killed 300,000 people through the damage he did since January.

Don’t let anyone forget it.

Comey is far from a sexist, and far from a partisan loyalist. He had to reopen the Hillary investigation when Anthony Wiener's laptop was found to contain emails the FBI had not been able to find previously. And he had to notify Congress he had done so.

But it was the decisive event of the campaign
The actual “skeleton key” was “a sexist FBI director who wants to humiliate Hillary Clinton,” and not one fucking thing the Trump campaign actually did.

The only lesson Democrats need to learn? No more Republican FBI directors in the name of non-existent bipartisan “fairness.” Never again.
In 2016 I had a note on my desk saying that Trump needed to win *all* of PA, OH, NC, NE, NH, and maybe a couple more. Doable, but extremely low odds.

Since then, everyone has been trying to find the skeleton key to the secret genius of the campaign, forgetting that a lot of it was just dumb luck

According to 538, Biden's approval rating is the highest it's been since October 23, jumping 3 points in the last two weeks. The continuing economic recovery and the country discovering that Trump is now the alternative having an impact.

Court orders don't contain arguments. They are decisions made after considering the arguments made. The fact that five D appointees, four of them non-white, made this decision should make a reasonable person think that perhaps the rule of law was not ignoredor trampled here.
the order doesn't even have an argument for why Trump is getting his bond cut by more than 60 percent. just says Trump gets it along with 10 more days to scrape up the cash

And it means he will likely go from conviction in NY to trail in DC, where he will sit in court during the fall campaign season.

Yep.
There seem to be discrepancies between what people say Burke did and what the indictment says he did, so maybe caution is warranted.

If he sells property, he owes capital gains tax and the mortgages. He likely would net little or nothing.
From a purely political angle, Trump losing deeds to properties that he is forced to sell while spamming his followers for petty cash is going to be a helluvan image. Because that's what this comes to, right?
appeal bonds in NY are mandatory, in the amount of 120% of the principal plus 9% statutory interest.

the 9% on the $168M going back to March 2019 is brutal. all told, the bond is going to be the better part of a billion dollars. no way he can post that.

collections starting soon.
