I watched the full episode and while Mehdi was incredibly impressive in his ability to make his arguments, not a single other debater was.
Mostly though, I was utterly ashamed of every person who told him to leave, and stunned that every person "against" Israel was antisemitic, not anti-genocide.

Exactly. It is not ambiguous. It's purposeful. They debated this question in the making of the 14th amendment and made the choice to word it in a way that protected the citizenship of the newly emancipated enslaved persons. The birthright question was debated. They knew what they were doing.
It starts with knowing the truth. Don’t allow yourselves to be gaslit into believing this is a real question.

The US isn't giving Sudan+Syria weapons to commit those crimes. If Michael Oren is concerned about Sudan, he should urge Israel to impose sanctions on the UAE, which is arming genocidal militias there. But he couldn't care less about Sudan. It's a transparent effort to deflect criticism of Israel.
