🟠Scott Snyder is the ONLY guy to write a decent Bane since 2011 and that's Absolute Bane, Tom King Bane is ABYSMAL cause Tom is the kind of bad writer who refuses to learn about the characters he writes AND comes up with bland alternative personas for them

the thing that makes me angriest about arguments from Yglesias and Bazelon is the bland, placid insistence that it is not just imperative to vote for politicians with no principles, but that if you as a private citizen have principles then you may as well be turning on the gas chambers yourself.

I walked out of the first Suicide Squad (because it had become quickly obvious that it was a disastrous editing room botch job a la the Ralph Fiennes Avengers) to play on the Time Crisis 3 machine in the lobby. The machine malfunctioned and gave me unlimited lives for a one pound coin.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
