At 2am my Windows 11 computer rebooted itself, causing my Dell laptop's broken diagnostic test to blast me with a horribly loud chime that I can't disable, followed by being locked out of my computer until I signed in with a Microsoft account, instead of the usual local account.

The honey locusts around here were the first trees to change colour this fall. I wonder if the "honey" name came from their little golden leaves? They seem to pile up along the curb, gilding the streets and paths.

Managed to find some mooncakes this year. The "double yolk" variety makes them quite heavy eating. Maybe next year I'll try to make some myself. 🥮
