I was also delisted after being waitlisted for an MFA at a prestigious uni bc I the prof said I could not be admitted if I wrote “that infantile Arthur Clarke stuff” and I said “you dropped the ‘sir’ from his name. He was knighted for services to literature.”
Was invited to go.

I don't have aphantasia but I do have disabilities that make it difficult for me to draw. I still draw. Lots of disabled artists make art. Using us as an excuse for AI is gross.
I personnally know a *lot* of artist with aphantasia, some take it as a blessing as they dont have to "stick to the image in [their] head and just enjoy the process". You always have a choice. Disabled artists always existed.
