A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.
All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.
So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

People are making jokes about "put your MAGA neighbor/relative on the list" and I'll tell you why I will not be doing that: because I do not believe in getting someone's human rights violated by a fascist regime and the bad scenario involves that person getting disappeared to a different country.
If you're considering RSVPing to a demonstration to protest the regime that is currently asserting it's about to crack down on "leftist groups" I encourage you to just not fucking do that. Go to the protest, yes. Put your name on a list, absolutely the fuck not.
I've looked at Indivisible's privacy policy. It is...not the most user-protective I have seen. (For starters, they can "share" your data with other groups.)
