Official Statement For Immediate Release On the evening of August 30, 2025, in New Hampshire, Mayor Giuliani was involved in a motor vehicle accident. Prior to the incident, he was flagged down by a woman who was the victim of a domestic violence incident. Mayor Giuliani immediately rendered assistance and contacted 911. He remained on scene until responding officers arrived to ensure her safety. Following this, while traveling on the highway, Mayor Giuliani's vehicle was struck from behind at high speed. He was transported to a nearby trauma center, where he was diagnosed with a fractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg. His business partner and medical provider were promptly contacted and arrived at the hospital to oversee his care. At this time, no further updates are available. This is the only statement authorized by Mayor Giuliani. Just before 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks were investigating a reported domestic violence incident on Interstate 93 southbound in Manchester when a two-vehicle crash occurred across from them on the northbound side of the interstate. As a result of the collision, both vehicles went into the median and were heavily damaged. Troopers and fire personnel, who were at the scene of the first incident, witnessed the collision and quickly crossed the interstate to render aid. The on-scene investigation determined that a Honda HR-V, driven by Lauren Kemp, 19, of Concord, struck the back of a Ford Bronco, driven by Theodore Goodman, of Michigan. Kemp and Goodman, as well as Giuliani, Goodman’s passenger, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken by ambulance to area hospitals for treatment. Lanes on both sides of the interstate were closed for approximately one hour while the crash was investigated. No charges have been filed at this time and all aspects of the crash remain under investigation. Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Sgt. Mark Dore at (603) 223-4381.

On this day in 1916, the Battle of Beaumont-Hamel was fought. In the battle, the Royal Newfoundland Regiment suffered heavy casualties with 80% of its soldiers dead or wounded in the space of one morning.
Today is known as Memorial Day in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Flight home to St John's from Toronto is overbooked by 6 seats. They're offering flight into St John's through Montreal arriving on 29th. Or they can drop you in Gander tomorrow and you can find your own way from there. The place is going up. It's brutal all around... 😥
