Hiking along a muddy path on a majestic, chiselled hillside. The green vegetation works hard to push some brilliance through a muted palette. A late-Spring cascade sweeps through a series of small pools and over rocks, taking it to the stream below. The rocks are wet and slippery, some have moss where the sun rarely hits the ground. Hiking the extensive trail network through temperate rainforest in Pinecone Burke Provincial Park. Hiking down to the a stream that feed the Coquitlam River takes you to Woodland Falls, also known as the Lower Sawblade Falls. A 0.8 sec exposure @ f / 18.
