Photo our deer feeder and of a raccoon sitting on one of the food delivery pans and is looking around as I just called to it. The small pan is full of deer corn. The raccoon is eating corn and the proof is the snout. It’s full of corn as the feeder is full.

My Photo-a-day 2026 photo - Day 40: I returned home from travels today and was quickly greeted by this special Red-winged Blackbird when I filled my feeders! Check out this bird!!! This is an adult Harlan's Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis harlani). Harlan's Hawks, as they are sometimes called, are a subspecies of Red-tailed Hawk that breed in Alaska and northwest Canada and can be identified by that amazing tail pattern! #bird #rarebird #photography
