These were super cool birds to see, their head feathers are so ornate! We saw a mix of males and females on a feeder at the Arenal Observatory, I think the females look way cooler.

Drove out to the local park this morning and spotted 20 bald eagles on my drive in... managed to get this shot of one in a tree, but as soon as the sun came up a little more most of them took flight and flew outside the park boundaries.
