Radar loop shows the rain has finally ended on the eastern side of the Island. Western areas are still experiencing rain and showers in response to a developing area of low pressure tracking into southern Labrador at this hour. #nlwx

Over 100 mm of rain will fall on parts of southern Newfoundland by the time early Wednesday rolls around. In addition, wind gusts peak near 100 km/h for eastern/northern areas of the Island overnight and heavy snow is en route to Churchill Falls. #nlwx
