Every extra hour that ICE spends facing off with activists is an hour they can't spend kidnapping other people.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.

@froomkin.bsky.social has the right idea here: A volunteer army tracking exactly what Trump is breaking, so we can fix it later. Lots of work is already happening, but a combined, organized, ongoing effort is crucial. It's a manifestation of faith in recovery, and a tool to help us get it done.

When Andrew Tate was charged with rape and human trafficking, Trump intervened to fly him back to the US.

When a working-class father of a disabled 5-year-old child was wrongfully deported and charged with NO crime, Trump refuses to lift a finger.

Why is Trump trying to build 10 new Tech Tyrant Towns (aka “freedom cities”)?

The answer is much weirder than you think.

Here’s a quick explainer. Please share with everyone you know. #NetworkState

As Marco Rubio and Elon Musk clash with Poland's foreign minister over the use of Starlink in Ukraine, we take a closer look at what alternatives the country has if they lose Musk's satellite communications system.
If Ukraine Loses Starlink, Here Are the Best Alternatives
OneWeb, Project Kuiper, and IRIS2 could all, in time, replace Elon Musk's satellite communications system in Ukraine, but they will struggle to replicate Starlink's coverage and usability.

I will say though, being good at the internet MEANS GETTING ATTENTION.

I don't comment on Ukraine much because I don't usually feel informed enough, but I'll say this: Zelensky is the kind of leader they build statues of that stay standing for three hundred years. Putin is the kind of leader who has statues of himself built that get torn down three years after he dies.
