If she wins in November, Angela Alsobrooks would be:

- the first Black senator from Maryland, which is over 30% Black
- the second woman senator from Maryland
- the fourth Black woman ever to serve in the Senate from any state
Angela Alsobrooks Wants to Be Maryland’s First Black Senator
If she wins this fall, Maryland’s newly chosen Democratic nominee for Senate would also become the sole woman in Maryland’s congressional delegation.

The more I read about David Smith's attacks on the city of Baltimore, the happier I am that his bet on Dixon did not work out. But watch out, he is also behind the campaign against public schools, bike lanes, etc.

I have voted against Dixon (for our mayor Brandon Scott) and against Trone (for Angela Alsobrooks).
I do not like corrupts and deep-pocket candidates deciding the future of the place I live in. #Maryland #Baltimore

It is election day!! Please don't vote for Sheila D*xon!!!!!!!!!
Since the Baltimore Democratic primary is the de facto election, I'm a little anxious about who is going to win the primary for mayor tomorrow.

“MD Dems must make their choice between a man blanketing the airwaves (Trone, the deep-pocketed owner of Total Wine) and the woman who would make history (Alsobrooks, hopefully 3rd Black woman in the Senate)”. #Maryland #Baltimore
What to Watch in Primaries in Maryland, Nebraska and West Virginia
Will Democrats in Maryland back a former Capitol Police officer? Can a moderate congressman fend off a conservative challenge in Nebraska? We look at the key races in Tuesday’s primaries.

ok im tilting a bit on this but if you live in baltimore

Please Don't Vote For Sheila Dixon.

Don't let your friends and family do it.

I get that it is frustrating to hang in there with the city but please don't make it worse.

I cannot believe we might do the dumbest outcome possible here.
