It sucks for every business in the Castle but I feel especially bad for the brides whose wedding dresses just got destroyed in the wedding store in that building.

My neighbor hood can not catch a break with fires lately. Now the castle aka the old Northern police station is on fire

This weekend I learned that Anthony Stewart Head and Murray Head are brothers. It makes sense given their last names, but I had no idea. So now in case you also did not realize this, I share with you this fun bit of trivia.

Narrator: They will not
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

Is there such thing as an anti-theme song? If so, this is the Democrats'.

The answer is yes. So good thing Democrats have decided people don't actually need it. They apparently just wanted to inflict 40 days of pain on people for nothing.
Is health insurance a matter of life and death? Scientists may have an answer.
The surprisingly tricky question stumped researchers for decades. But they think they finally have an answer.

I am not ready for it to be so cold tomorrow. I guess at least I don't live somewhere that's getting snow. Is it spring yet?

So if the Democrats were just going to cave without getting anything why did they just subject everyone to all this pain? Should have just rolled over right away. At least then all the federal workers and SNAP recipients wouldn’t have suffered.

I have 2 guesses left in Wordle and am completely stuck. I can’t even figure out a word to try based on the letters I have.

Had a quick but lovely afternoon in NYC. The weather was great. We ate lunch outside. Went to the exhibit on Black Broadway at the NYPL Performing Arts Library and then enjoyed Ragtime. Now headed home to Baltimore.

We made it all the way to NYC and the conductor never checked our tickets. We could have gone for free.

I hate sitting backwards on the train, but only the backwards seats were left if we wanted to sit together when we rebought tickets for this weekend

I miss being able to eat without being in pain. I literally don’t know what else to do. I’m on double meds. The head of my bed is propped up. I don’t eat or drink 3 hours before bed. I’ve limited my diet to practically nothing. I’m so tired of this body that hates me more and more every year.

Almost the only Grammy's related thing I care about this year. It's weird because when I was young I swore I would never stop being into new music thinking about pop music at the time. I'm still hugely into new music. It just often isn't what's popular. So I'm not sure if I accomplished my vow.

When I studied abroad in London I took a theatre class and we studied this play and saw it during its original West End run. I had planned to see the current Broadway revival but illness scrapped that trip. Luckily Everyman Theatre currently has a production too so seeing it locally instead.

I don’t even get how this is motivating. Like he already has more money than he will ever be able to spend. What is the point? Just to be able to say you have the most money? Just gross. www.wired.com/story/tesla-...

Thankfully I don’t drive one of those cars with the stupidly tall hood or I probably would have hit the little boy that ran straight out in front of my car at an intersection without slowing down or looking while I had a green light.

I just always assume every artist I like would fine me extremely boring if they met me.

I have a lot of answers for the reverse of this question whereby there are a lot of artists I love but know I would tire of extremely quickly if we ever met.
I asked this before over at The Old Place and the answers delighted me. So again:

Who is an artist you admire who you suspect would not like you if they met you personally?

I think Peter Dinklage is fantastic. I would absolutely get on his last nerve. He'd be looking for the door while we spoke.

If this shut down drags on to Thanksgiving and holiday travel is a disaster, I have to wonder if there's anything that will break this stalemate to get the government to reopen.

This song was everywhere in 2012. Radio, tv shows, ads. You could not escape it. I'm surprised I never got tired of it. It's one of the rare songs that managed to be overplayed without me eventually hating it. I still love it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dX3k...
