Thanks to all our riders for their patience this past week during the storm! 🧡

At this time, the only weather-related detour is on the Orange Route, which is not serving the Maritime Park Stop.

🚶‍♀️❄️ Icy sidewalks = slow it down

🥾 Wear boots with good grip
🐧 Do the penguin walk; arms out, weight centered
👣 Take short steps; shuffle, don’t stride
👐 Keep your hands out of your pockets to stay balanced

🚗❄️ Icy roads ahead

🧊 If you hit ice while driving:
🧘‍♂️ Don’t panic; keep your wheel straight
🦶 Ease your foot off the gas and coast
🛑 Tap brakes gently; don’t slam
⚠️ Slow down; reduced grip affects stopping and turning

🥶 Temps near freezing? Ice can form fast.
❄️ Even light snow or moisture can turn into ice quickly
🚗 Slow down, watch your speed, and leave extra stopping space

📞 Seeing icy or snowy conditions on your street?
🧊 Report it to 311 so we can send crews out

We want you safe 💙
January 28, 2026 at 3:00 AM
❄️ Ramps, bridges, and overpasses freeze first
🌉 These spots lose heat faster, so ice can form even when nearby streets look fine
🚗 Road conditions can change block by block; slow down and reduce speeds for safety

Be a good neighbor ❄️🤝

🚫 Don’t reserve parking spaces with chairs or objects
🪑 Chairs and debris make plowing dangerous, can damage our plows, and prevent crews from clearing the street
🚧 If there’s something in the space, we can’t plow it

🧹 Shovel and salt sidewalks outside your home or business
🚗 Clear snow off your car roof before driving
❤️ Check on neighbors who may be elderly or sick
🤲 Help those in need when you can

Small actions make a big difference.
We got this 💙

GET A GRIP.

Slow down. 🧊🚗
Icy roads mean less traction, longer stopping distances, and reduced control when turning.

Reduce your speed ⬇️, take turns gently ↩️, and leave extra space between you and the car ahead 🚙↔️🚙.
