If you’ve got a Senate Democrat who is not calling for new leadership, they’re part of the problem.

We should no longer trust Senate Dems who decline to come out against the leadership that led us here. Until proven otherwise, we should assume they were in on the game to fool their own supporters.
“After a year spent organizing to try to convince the Democratic Party to unify and oppose this regime, here’s where I am: The time for convincing is over. We need new leadership.” - @ezralevin.bsky.social

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

This is intentional, the Dem caucus caved and nominated those 8 to take the fall.
Not a single one of the eight up for reelection this coming cycle. 🤔
THE FOLLOWING DEMOCRATIC SENATORS VOTE “YES” ON THE CONTINUING RESOLUTION IN EXCHANGE FOR NOTHING:

MAGGIE HASSAN (NH)

CATHERINE CORTEZ MASTO (NV)

JEANNE SHAHEEN (NH)

JACKY ROSEN (NV)

DICK DURBIN (IL)

TIM KAINE (VA)

ANGUS KING (ME)

JOHN FETTERMAN (PA)

Democrats have to stop bailing out Republicans from facing the consequences of their own policies. And yeah, that means they have to stop sparing voters from experiencing what GOP government truly means.

Every time Dems step in, it only emboldens the GOP & they make it even worse the next time.
So Democrats get:

1. A CR that will prevent the GOP from facing the wrath of Americans for a shutdown over the holidays

2. A coupon for one (1) meaningless ACA vote that will fail

3. An end to the illegal RIF/SNAP moves that are already before the courts

Those all seem like wins for the GOP.

Democrats should embrace progressive positions AND do so with an aggressive, combative style. This energizes progressives and tells people who don’t care about politics you actually stand for something. You’re never getting the Fox News addicts and you should stop obsessing over them. They’re nuts.

No matter what #Musk says or does, many on the left continue to post on and pay for X, a clear example of how progressive movements are beholden to the narrative that we don't have to change anything at all about our lives to achieve our political goals.

I wrote about why that's bad in July ⬇️

In my experience, most leftists are young, impulsive, and pretty reactionary about religion. But if you want to organize, your local UU church, liberal shuls, and even some Methodist churches already have the infrastructure young leftists think they're going to create.
