Thinking about the internet that existed in the 00s when I was a kid. It wasn’t perfect but damn… there’s a lot to miss. I’m so glad I didn’t grow up with what the internet has become now, I think it would’ve fucked up my developing brain to be online 24/7 the way kids are now.

I don't want a tax cut. I want a functioning welfare state.

I want Australians to not live in poverty.

I want universal healthcare.

Better education.

That's what my taxes should be for.

I was pleased to meet air traffic controllers from Vermont today. Whether you’re flying from BTV or one of our state’s regional airports, these are some of the people keeping you safe.

Let me thank the air controllers for the difficult and important work they do.

Last weekend, I coated some old photo paper with cyanotype solution and decided to experiment with Lumen prints. I used small flowers of turmeric and salt to the process. The results turned out painterly and abstract. Nothing perfect about the outcome, but that's where the magic lies.

Our for-profit health care system is not only broken & cruel, it's extremely wasteful.

While we spend billions on stock buybacks, CEO compensation & denying needed care, Medicare for All would save $650 billion & 68,000 lives a year per CBO & Yale University. Let's get it done.

For #WomensHistoryMonth, I celebrate Anne Sexton—a poet who fearlessly laid bare the pain of existence. Her words cut through the silence of suffering, turning darkness into beauty. Her raw, unapologetic voice still echoes today.

Here’s some new poems from me.
