Labor of love happened in the studio today. I hand printed 40 fine art photo cards that will be going into a garden shop at a local nursery my incredible friends and their partners are opening in May. Very happy with how these turned out. Working on lovely packaging to complement.

Into the darkness they go, the wise and the lovely. - Edna St. Vincent Millay

A digital negative of Sargent’s ‘Madame X,’ flipping her silhouette, then weaving winter branches around the edges. There’s something hauntingly beautiful in how she emerges centuries from the deep blue cyanotype.

Last weekend, I coated some old photo paper with cyanotype solution and decided to experiment with Lumen prints. I used small flowers of turmeric and salt to the process. The results turned out painterly and abstract. Nothing perfect about the outcome, but that's where the magic lies.

Sometimes the most beautiful moments come from life's little accidents.

A perfectly preserved 1905 portrait tucked away in a wooden box living with other historical photographs. The tissue sleeve that protected it for decades now holds a ghostly imprint, a faded echo of the photograph it guarded.

Love how time leaves its own signature on our memories.

The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper. — W.B. Yeats

Spent a little time this afternoon in my studio arranging these treasures and found objects that have been patiently waiting for their next life.

Celebrating International Women’s Day! 💪🏻✨💗

The world needs strong women. Women who will lift and build others, who will love and be loved, women who live bravely, both tender and fierce, women of indomitable will.– Amy Tenney

Objects are the anchors of memory, the keepers of stories not yet told. - Isabel Allende

I found myself in the studio this past weekend and this little memory keeper came to life. There’s something deeply satisfying about binding time between layers of history.

These gems were just added to my little studio reading stack:

The Work of Art and The War of Art

Been feeling stuck in my creative flow lately, and I’m excited to dive into these books for some fresh inspiration and perspective.

The magic light in that museum!!

Captured my beautiful friend @audreygray as the masterpiece she is, glowing in afternoon light at Philbrook Museum. Mary Magdalene couldn’t help but admire from her frame. 🖼️✨

It was wonderful exploring centuries of art and history at the Philbrook Museum Saturday. The image of the globe chandelier feels like the perfect symbol a reminder of how art connects us across time and cultures.

This Italian Renaissance villa turned museum has been inspiring Tulsa since 1927!

Completed in 1929, Westhope is Frank Lloyd Wright’s only Textile Block house built outside California. One of Wright’s few major commissions during the Great Depression, a period when architectural projects became scarce and Wright struggled to secure new work.

Basking in that golden afternoon glow with a beautiful friend in Tulsa this past weekend. Soul-nourishing weekends like these are everything. Her mid-century rental is pure magic – every corner radiates vintage charm. Feeling grateful. ✨

During the Victorian era, flowers were used to express secret messages of affection on Valentine’s Day. 💌

On this day, expressing gratitude for all forms of love, including romantic love, self-love, love for those who are no longer here, and the love for those who bring joy into our lives. 💕
