There are so many things we could be doing!! A few government-level things:

• More sick leave
• More support for vaccination
• Way better public messaging about prevention
• More long covid research
• Indoor air quality & ventilation standards
• Mask mandates in high-risk places (health care e.g.)

The ACLU of Kentucky, on behalf of Kentucky parents, has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to take up and overturn the Sixth Circuit ruling upholding Kentucky’s ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth. Along w/ TN challenge, this will be the first case the Supreme Court takes up on these laws.

Kentucky's gov in 2019 restored voting rights of more than 200K people, with one stroke of pen. But the state has done little since to reach out & inform them.

Formerly incarcerated Kentuckians have stepped up to fill the void, & organize.
