In the last 20 or so minutes I’ve seen LAPD officers shove women to the ground without provocation, rip a sign out of a man’s hand and then swing a baton into his leg and raise a less-lethal launcher to aim
directly at a protester (which I’m 99% is a major policy violation.)

Senator Ted Cruz posted a dramatic video of LAPD cars on fire with the caption “this… is… not… peaceful.” What he didn’t mention? The footage was from 2020, not 2025. His post on X falsely implied it was current, part of a broader effort to spread lies and manufacture a crisis.

My family got these payments when my dad died at 34 years old after serving in the Navy for a decade from what he had paid in. I was five. Jeanine is an incurious ignoramus. Thanks @jessicatarlov.bsky.social for correcting her, which is God’s work.
Jeanine: We found out there are people who are between the ages of one and four who are getting social security

Jessica: That's the benefit for kids whose parents are dead.

Forcing people to pay $130 for a passport in order to vote is just a Jim Crow poll tax by another name.

It is blatantly unconstitutional.

old great aunt prove her citizenship to vote in rural georgia, this definitely isn’t reminiscent of anything in the american past
🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.

When people act like MeToo is just a footnote of what’s happening, they’re wrong—it’s part and parcel of the whole conservative package. Sexual violence is a pillar of who they are. The glorification of abuse extends to all of their policies and makes up their strongest identity

Last night I was driving up 395 along the eastern Sierras.

Given the present circumstances, I decided to sleep outside, across the road from Manzanar. It was a mild spring night, and I have a modern sleeping bag.

It was cold as hell.

One thing that I think people need to realize is that Trump's brain is pretty clearly pudding.

He didn't run on any of this stuff, but he also doesn't give a shit. He just wants to pursue grievances and try to jail CNN. He just signs the paper they give him and lives in an information bubble
