I’m fairly sure that if there is one person who wishes they would have found it more quickly it is Joe Biden.

Also Trump’s medical exam is chock full of lies and the “liberal media” doesn’t make Republicans answer for it. Hell, they don’t even ask anymore.
A mere 5 months after he leaves office, where he was supposed to be under close medical watch. This is not going to make the questions about complicity to other Democrats go away. It may make it worse.

Personally, I think it should be front page news for at least a month if a sitting US President is using falsified evidence to try and deny due process to a man who has committed no crime, but that’s just me

RFK jr talking about how “autism is only being diagnosed in children, not in older adults, it must be an epidemic” is crazy because have you ever met someone who is 60+ who is clearly autistic and doesn’t realize and suggest they get diagnosed? sometimes they’re offended you even suggest doing that

The paper factory in my small town is closing, and 2000+ jobs are gone. But I’m low key happy my kids won’t be breathing who the fuck knows growing up.

"The left went too far" in contemporary U.S. politics is almost always a lie and a very convenient way to rationalize moral failure. For example, "MeToo went too far" replaces "I do not care about sexual violence or its victims and I don't want to have to even feel bad about that"

I continue to think that decimation of governmental departments is a much, much more important and dramatic story than it will be possible to convince people it is.

This pointless stunt by Cory Booker is accomplishing nothing but drawing attention to the Trump administration’s wrongdoing and delaying the work of the Senate and energizing the Democratic base and, wait, hang on, let me come in again

The last three people I knew to pass away because of addiction were parents.

I say this because there are various initiatives out there, even in MA, to require people to pass drug tests before getting food stamps.

If you're willing to let a kid go hungry for whatever reason? You ain't a Christian.

The government can easily eliminate child poverty if it wants

Means testing government aid isn’t necessary

The government can give us free stuff and make things easier to get if it wants

CEOs aren’t essential
Things COVID has proven:

1) The job you were told couldn’t be done remotely, can be done remotely.

2) Many disabled workers could have been working from home, but corporations just didn’t want them to.

3) Internet is a utility and not a luxury.

4) Universal healthcare is a necessity.

I remember when I was in college and said things like “sure protests are important, but there’s no reason for property damage”. And 20 years later I’m like “you should leave the mom and pop store alone, but burn that Tesla dealership/Walmart/Amazon warehouse to the fucking ground”
