This is Nazism. And the only reason some folks cannot see it is because they, themselves, are also dangerous fascists. This may be the most un-American statement ever uttered by a man currently serving as co-President of the United States. It spits in the face of everything America is.

Another outcome for which the Kremlin worked, lest we forget. Described in "Road to Unfreedom."
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

It's hard to over-state how important Trump admin subordination is to Putin, and not just because it hugely increases the pressure on Europe, above all on Ukraine. It's also because it gives Russia much more great power credibility, for which the Kremlin is absolutely desperate. 🧵
Both the Trump and Putin administrations like to think of themselves as hard-nosed realists - leaders in a world where great powers are the only stars that count. But Russia is China's dependent and Trump's US looks increasingly like Russia's junior partner. That's not very great power-like.

This is exactly what we mean when we say that the Georgian Dream is unlikely to manage to stabilize its dictatorship - and that, consequently, everything needs to be done to help restore the public will in Georgia.

If it's true, if the US is willing to allow borders to be redrawn by force and let aggressors be rewarded, then the gates of hell are about to be opened.

This may prove to be the single most destabilizing and conflict-spawning decision of the 21st century.

A truly Black Friday.

The United States is rewarding Russian aggression instead of backing Ukraine's victory. This guarantees fascist Russia's war against the West will escalate massively.

The few remaining democracies have to mobilize for war rapidly and form new alliances or they will be crushed.

Imagine what would happen to anybody making a serious corruption investigation against the will of the president in the United States or Russia. Ukraine is fighting corruption, some others are not.

On the 1-year anniversary of daily, uninterrupted, nationwide protests in Georgia, the crowd is massive.

Even after a year of arrests, torture, fines, and repressive laws, Georgians still show up.

The illegitimate, pro-Russian regime must stand down.

It was not a plan but a capitulation document. It did not come together. It was a Russian document presented by some Americans as American. Be clear in your headlines. Help
people see the simple awfulness of things.
President Trump's proposal to end the war in Ukraine heavily favored Russia in its initial form and included demand that Kyiv has consistently rejected. Here's how the plan came together.

Listen to "The Daily."

A year ago today, Georgians flooded the streets after Georgian Dream said it would suspend EU accession. The people haven’t stopped since — protests have taken place every day in 8+ cities.

Tonight, Tbilisi is packed with protesters marching toward Parliament.

Trump has never once in his life extemporaneously used the phrase "western civilization." He was once asked about western liberalism and thought they were talking about California Democrats. One of the more blatant tells for a Miller-written screed.
Trump: “I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries … denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic tranquility, and deport any Foreign National who is a public charge, security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.“
