Instead of #standingstonesunday today here are some snaps of what's left of Dun Bharabhat tucked away on Bernera, taken at the end of November
Ocre land curves into a loch, reaching toward a small round island with a low stone construction. A few stones have been placed on the water at the inside of the curve in a line pointing to the island A view from near stones pointing from the bank toward the island construction. Once shaped somewhat like an upturned flower pot only the base of the dun remains A closer view of the dun. The remaining stonework is higher on the right side A closer view of the remains of the dun. Looking toward the highest remaining side. Lichen is visible on the stonework. The far bank of the loch with a single house and distant hills provide a backdrop under a hazy sky
