The union issue is with the IATSE crew, but the film has a SAG/AFTRA contract for actors.
Didn't stop them from advertising for non-union actors last year. (Possible the ad was from before the contract was locked in, but SAG actors had joined the film prior to the date shown)

There is a very thin layer of men that go into ministry because they know they just can't cut it...
